Privacy Policy
The short version: no accounts, no email lists, no ads, no cookies. This page explains the little we do collect and why. Last updated August 31, 2026.
What we collect
- ZIP codes you enter. Your ZIP code is sent to our server to compute your local timing result, and is recorded in our usage analytics (for example, which ZIP codes are looked up and what status they returned). A ZIP code covers thousands of households; we have no way to connect it to you personally.
- Anonymous usage analytics. We run a self-hosted instance of Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-less analytics tool. It records page views, referrers, and interactions (ZIP lookups, product-link views and clicks, dataset downloads) without cookies, without cross-site tracking, and without storing personal identifiers.
- Standard server logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request metadata (such as IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site, per Cloudflare's privacy policy. We use this only for operations and abuse prevention.
Location auto-fill
If your browser grants location permission, we send your coordinates to our server once to find the nearest ZIP code and pre-fill the input. The coordinates are used for that single lookup and are not stored. Declining the permission changes nothing — you can always type a ZIP code.
Cookies
We set no cookies — no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no consent banners needed. Our analytics works without them.
Affiliate links
Some product links are Amazon affiliate links. If you click one, you leave this site and Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We receive only aggregate commission reports from Amazon — never who you are or what you bought.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent any data.
- We never collect names, email addresses, or account information — there is nothing to sign up for.
- We never share data with advertisers or data brokers.
